5/1 - Doctor appointment. Went great! I heard the heartbeat instantly when she put the doppler on my
tummy. The heartbeat was normal (145-155 bpm)! My uterus measured 13" which is also normal (should be approx. how many weeks
you are and I was 12 weeks). I've only gained 2 lbs so far. I need to go at this slow pace of weight gain since I didn't lose
much after having Trinity!
6/2 - Doctor appointment. 4:10pm - Everything went great again. Heard the heartbeat and it was 142 bpm.
6/21 - Ultrasound to determine the gender!!! 1pm - Well, it looks like the girls get another little sister!
We can't believe it. Terry's very scared for when they're all teenagers! This one is going to HATE the hand-me-downs! Her
heartbeat was 143 bpm and she was in the 65th percentile. Everything measured perfectly and she has her 10 toes and 10 fingers.
She was measuring about 3 days ahead of schedule, which is just fine. She was sucking her thumb during the ultrasound which
was so adorable! You could see the sucking motion. She also had hiccups which was cute to see too. I still want my boy someday,
but girls are such wonderful blessings too!!!
6/30 - Doctor appointment. 3:40pm. Everything again was fine. Only gained 1 pound. Yippee! Her heartbeat was
143 bpm.
7/14 - FREE ultrasound at Philips Medical! Got some pretty cool 3-D pictures. (See below) She's 23 weeks old.
8/18 - Doctor appointment at 3:10pm. Everything again was great. These doctor appointments are beginning to
get very routine. Scheduled the Glucose Test.
8/22 - Took Glucose test. Everything was again great! This is the first pregnancy where the outcome was that
I was NOT anemic! Yippee.
8/25 - Was a Philips Ultrasound model again but this time it was at a seminar at the Marriot downtown Seattle.
Got a few pictures of Tavia, but she was again hiding her face so much that they didn't turn out very well.
8/28 - Went back to Philips to do more ultrasound modeling. She was hiding her cute little face yet again
and I didn't get any pictures of her this day.
8/29 - 3rd time at Philips Ultrasound again and it was a good day. Little Tavia was wiggling all over the
place. At one point she put her hand up to her face as if she was saying "don't see me"! She has that Hollimon baby face...
looking very similar to her sisters. We even saw her eye move, that was crazy. These 3D and 4D ultrasound machines are amazing!
We got a cool picture of her holding her foot with her hand. I can't wait to hold her!!!
9/22 - Doctor appointment at 2:30pm.
